Brief History
Over fifty years ago, Dr. Jim Curtiss opened his practice in Maryville, TN. He treated people the right way and built a foundation of trust for generations of families.
In 2024, Dr. Amanda Brown joined Curtiss Dentistry and worked alongside Dr. Curtiss for two years before he retired in January of ‘26.
Under Dr. Brown’s leadership, Curtiss Dentistry continues to grow the team, patients, services, and collections too.
We’re now looking for an associate to join Dr. Brown on Thursdays and Fridays to expand access to care and continue to serve the Maryville community with integrity and clinical excellence for years to come.
Mentorship
Come join Dr. Amanda Brown and learn from one of the best dentists in East Tennessee.
Dr. Brown is proficient in all aspects of clinical dentistry, including complex cosmetic procedures. On Fridays, she’s a clinical instructor at Lincoln Memorial University School of Dental Medicine in Knoxville (one reason we need you!).

Digital, modern dentistry supported by a CBCT, milling unit, Plameca CAD/CAM and iTero Lumina workflows.
Strong patient base
>4,500 total patient visits in the last 12 months, including:
37% fee for service patients
63% PPO patients (mostly Delta)

Dr. Amanda Brown and her team focus on excellent clinical care, achored in integrity, resulting in $1.9M in collections in the last 12 months.

Join a team led by Dr. Brown and driven by strong culture and shared success. The team also includes 2 hygienists, 2 full-time dental assistants (including an EFDA), 1 practice manager (you’ll love Patsy), and 1 front office associate.
