Over a year ago, I welcomed Dr. Abby Brodzik to Central Kentucky Dentistry.

Dr. Abby has deep ties to Bourbon County, and many of you already know her and her family. And many of you have even seen her for treatment!

I’m writing today to re-introduce Dr. Abby Brodzik as the new leader of Central Kentucky Dentistry

When I started practicing here 37 years ago, I dreamed of building a practice where patients and team members became friends.

I’m so proud of what we’ve built together.

If you’re reading this, you’ve been part of that story. Thank you for trusting me to be your dentist.

With Dr. Abby on board, I’ve already begun scaling back, and I'll fully retire in early 2026. I’m making this decision to spend valuable time with my family.

Dr. Abby is no stranger to Bourbon County. She’s one of us, and you’re going to love her.

She grew up in Paris and went to Bourbon County High School. After graduating, she attended nearby Georgetown College, where she studied biology as part of the Oxford Honors Program. After Georgetown, she earned her dental degree from the UK College of Dentistry.

For the past two years, she’s been practicing with me at Central Kentucky Dentistry, right here on Alverson Drive.

What impresses me most about Dr. Abby is her warmth and commitment to relationships. She’s an outstanding dentist who truly cares about her patients. I’m confident you’ll feel that same trust when you meet her.

I’m proud to hand over leadership of my practice to a Bourbon County native who knows our patients and our community.
