Dr. Victoria Lansdale-Graves didn’t go to Dyersburg High School - she grew up in Jackson, TN.

But she knows the Dyersburg High School campus well.

She was a track and field athlete before she became a dentist, and she raced many times at track meets hosted by the Trojans, competing in the 400m, 800m, and relays.

“I grew up in Jackson, and I’ve spent my whole life in West Tennessee. I love it here, and this is home.”

- Dr. Victoria

After graduating from high school, Dr. Victoria studied chemistry at UT-Martin, where she met her husband (JB). She went on to graduate from dental school at UTHSC in Memphis and stayed in West Tennessee to practice.

Upon graduating from dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, she considered many offers to join practices across Tennessee and Kentucky.

For the last three years, I’ve been practicing in South Fulton, and I’ve loved it. But when I met Dr. Stavely and saw an opportunity to join this exceptional practice in Dyersburg, I couldn’t turn it down. I’m honored to join this practice and care for this tight-knit community”

- Dr. Victoria

Dr. Victoria is officially joining Dr. Stavely and her team in July of 2025.

Dr. Victoria is a thoughtful, steady, and a gifted clinician, but what impressed me most is her warmth, humility, and commitment to relationships. She’s an outstanding dentist who truly cares about her patients. I’m confident you’ll feel that same trust when you meet her.

About Dr. Teresa Stavely

Dr. Teresa Stavely graduated from Stewart County High School in 1987 with highest honors.

She accepted an academic scholarship at Austin Peay University in Clarksville, TN where she earned a Bachelor of Science studying biology and chemistry.

In 1995 she graduated from University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with honors.

Today, Dr. Stavely is committed to keeping up with the latest techniques and tech. She’s a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Seventh District Dental Society, and The American Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Stavely’s office is now Southern Smile Studio

As we welcome Dr. Victoria, we’re also excited to share that our practice will be rebranding as Southern Smile Studio - a fresh name that reflects both our roots and our future. Same great care, same team, just a new look and feel.

Now that Dr. Victoria has joined the team, I’ll begin easing into retirement — and yes, maybe spending a little more time at the beach with Jimmy. I plan to fully step away from the practice by the end of the year, confident it’s in great hands. In the meantime, I’ll continue seeing patients a couple of days a week while helping introduce Dr. Victoria and supporting a smooth transition. And don’t worry - the rest of our team isn’t going anywhere! They already know and love Dr. Victoria, and they can’t wait for you to meet her too.
